Panasonic has entered the 3D Blu-ray player market by releasing the new DMP-BDT300 at Panasonic’s annual convention in Munich, Germany. This 3D Blu-ray player adopts the company’s UniPhier LSI chip allowing output of Full HD images (1080p quality) in the frame-sequential method. All you need is an active shutter pair of glasses and a 3D-ready TV to enjoy the 3D content. The new DMP-BDT300 can also upscale your old DVDs. OpenPeak has introduced another one of its upcoming multi-touch tablet called the OpenTablet 7. Based on the Intel’s Moorestown platform, this ultra-sleek device boasts a 7-inch multi-touch LCD backlit screen, a microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a USB interface and dual cameras for capturing both high-definition video and still images. The OpenTablet 7 is expected to be shipped in the second half of this year for unannounced price yet.

Bookeen today confirmed that the Orizon e-book reader will be launched in May 2010 in the US and the UK markets. The e-reader will feature a 6-inch multitouch Sipix display with 800 x 600 resolution, a 1GB of internal memory, a micro-SD slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, an accelerometer and a mini-USB.
